Open joint-stock company "Балцем" (the former Balaklejsky cement-slate industrial complex) - one of the largest diversified enterprises of Ukraine on manufacture of building materials. Raw and fuel base is the Shebelinsky deposit of Ukraine. As a raw-material base for cement and керамзитового manufactures of "Baltsemu" the Shebelinsky deposit of a chalk and clay (village Cretaceous, Balaklejsky area), located in 9 km from the enterprise serves.
