Pharmaceutical company "Environmental protection firm KREOMA-PHARM" was created in 1996 in Kiev. The main direction of enterprise activity is the development of production of medicines with sorption and detoxication effect. Nowadays product range of the company includes a real brand – an original organic silicone entherosorbent Entherosgel, which has no analogues elsewhere in the world. During the short period of time, which passed from the moment of product placement on the market, it has gained popularity among medical workers – doctors of different specialisation and pharmaceutists – and patients, and now Entherosgel is entherosorbent # 1 in Ukraine. According to the volume of pharmacy sales in 2005 Entherosgel occupied the 45th position among all medications, and in August 2006 shifted to the 23rd position in this prestigious top-list (data taken from Pharmstandard market research analytical system of MORION company).
The mission of the company is to offer necessary for all categories of consumers universal, highly efficient and safe medications with sorption and detoxication effect to forecast the trends in medicine and pharmaceutics development and to offer innovative sorption and combined medicines earlier than competitors to treat and prevent different diseases, to maintain optimal functional state of vital organs and systems, to improve quality and increase duration of human life.

Environmental protection firm KREOMA-PHARM is a rapidly developing enterprise. During the last years industrial capacities have grown significantly (by more than three times), and modernization of equipment, perfection of technological processes, meticulous choice of suppliers for component units and enhancement of personnel’s professional level allowed to achieve high quality of products. And even though sales volumes of the enterprise are constantly growing, the demand for it is staying rather high.
The increase of production volumes demanded for the increase in number and significant improvement of quality in professional background of the personnel. Nowadays five people with 2 Ph.Ds and 4 people with one Ph.D. are working at the enterprise, one more employee is in post-graduate studies, and the proportion of personnel with higher education has passed 60%.
At the same time, technical equipping of the laboratories, namely analytical control and scientific research ones, has significantly improved. The scientific laboratory of KREOMA-PHARM enterprise conducts research of both applied and fundamental problems: studying the conditions of directed synthesis and the interdependence between structure and properties of new organic silicone compounds, creation of new medications and development of industrial technology for their production.
The increase of enterprise’s scientific potential allowed to speed up the development of new prospective medications. For example, after successful completion of clinical trials a mass production of new medication was started - it was Entherosgel with sweet taste. Presently the enterprise conducts pre-clinical research of an innovative organic silicone medication for external application, which has sorption and anti-bacterial properties. Works on creation of other prospective medications are also being conducted.
The enterprise has been awarded many times for its successes by Diplomas of Kiev district state administration, was a laureate of National competition "Invention-2000". In 2001 it was awarded a diploma of the 7th international open popularity and quality rating "Golden Fortune". The unique properties of Entherosgel medication were marked by Diplomas and special emblems – "Medication with radiation protection properties" and "Environmentally friendly and safe".
Some short-term goals of the enterprise include the construction of new industrial complex with the capacity of up to 850 tons of Entherosgel medication annually. The products will be manufactured according to a new technology on modern equipment produced in Europe pursuant to GMP conditions. The entering of new industrial capacities into operation is planned for the beginning of 2009.
