Description
Firefighter protection costume is a modern universal means of individual protection for firefighters and emergency divisions from affecting factors of fire, increased temperature, and water. Besides, it is also an excellent protection from unfavorable atmospheric factors (wind, rain, frost, fog).
Package of materials and cloths from which the clothes is made provides protection for firefighters’ bodies from high temperatures, heat stream, open fire, contact with hot surfaces, water and aggressive environments.
The vest consists of three layers:
- First (external) layer – Pirovitex material, 88 % of aramide fibers, 12 % of wool with the weight of 230 g/m2 provides maximal comfort.
Breaking load base/weft, Н – 2050/1134.
Resistance against heat stream of 40 kW/sq.m for five seconds – meets the requirements.
Fire resistance – does not burn or smoulder
- Second layer – waterproof and vapor-permeable cloth, which provides impermeability of clothes and protection against wind but still allows the body to “breathe”.
- Third layer – heat isolation undercoat with fire protection heat insulation material CBM.
Breaking load in longitudinal and transverse directions (weight 200 g/sq.m) amounts to no less than 40 Н.
CBM heat insulation material increases general fire resistance of costume by 30%.
