Description
«VARTA-485 EN» software is designed for control and monitoring of safety system network through a personal computer, with this network based on "Varta-1/832” fire control devices on objects where there is a great number of fire control devices or the access of servicing personnel is hampered or limited.
The program services sub-networks in which "Varta-1/832” with PC communication blocks are combined. Each sub-network may contain up to 64 devices. There is a possibility of managing loops connected to the devices (reset, turning loops on and off).
Network structure is shown in the program as a tree the elements of which are sub-networks, devices and loops. There is a possibility to identify each network element with a text description and/or graphic plan of protected territory with an option of indicating coverage zone.
The program also has an event log where all network events and users’ actions are documented. Sorting and filters are envisaged for the log. There is a possibility for registering several users with different access levels (from 1 to 4). For each user workzone saving is available (i.e., location of windows). Regulation of access levels for main windows and functions of the program is also envisaged. In case of new events in the network the program is brought into foreground and emits a sound signal. The status bar shows an indicator of network polling. The program has wide customization opportunities (network polling parameters, program interface, color schemes, etc.).
